As I've always been a pretty independent cat, I know decided to live my life on my own paws again.

I was brought in because of mange. I thought I was looking OK but Brigitte disagreed - she said it looked as if I had holes in my skin! I've been getting special treatment and my fur is growing back. Unfortunately, however, no-one can remember where I came from so it looks as if I'll stay at the shelter for a long time. That doesn't bother me much as there are lots of doggies to talk to and the food is good .

Where I used to live they never really liked to have dogs around. One day they put some nice chicken with poison in front of me and I was stupid enough (or hungry enough) to eat it. That's how I landed at the DRCS. Thankfully I made it through this really tuff time and enjoy my life now here at the shelter. I am thankful to be alive and make the best out of every day....

Kara was brought to the animal shelter by her owner. She was extremely skinny. At least the Thai took her to us  and didn't expose her to the streets. She is very fearful and doesn't feel good here. She probably would prefer exchanging food for her own family. 

Hurra, I found a new home in Germany and live now with Martina.

RED (female)

Red had a bad accident. She was hit by a motorbike. Her right paw was broken several times and could not be saved. It had to be amputated. Unfortunately the healing process turned out to be a difficult procedure and she was left with a huge wound. We almost lost Red. Thanks to the treatments of Dr. Sid, Red could be saved.

The left paw was badly affected too, but could be saved. To speed up the wound healing, we treated her every day with a lacer machine.

After I was hit by a motorbike, some lovely Thai people brought me to the DRCS where I got immediate car. Thankfully I recovered quite fast and in with no time I could stand on all four paws again. I've always felt very comfortable at the shelter and love the cat house. I believe the DRCS people could tell so too and therefore never bothered to bring me back on the street. Puhh...lucky me! Things are good now and I look forward to spending the rest of my life here.... unless some nice person comes by and decides to adopt me of course...
