ADOPT 

  DOGS  AND CATS

I was brought into the shelter by a tourist who was concerned about my skin - I have some sort of infection. However, after a long consultation with Dr Tom he has told me that after some nasty-tasting medication I will get much better and will be fit to be returned to the beach where I was found. However, I only get to go back to the beach if I get better and can look after myself.

Great news: I found a new home in Germany. While I was living at the DRCS, Christine from Augsburg in Germany was looking after me. Thank you very much! 

I was brought into the shelter as a little frightened kitten. I had been found on the road by a motorist and he was concerned I would get run over. He brought me to Brigitte's house late one evening and I settled in right away. They gave me lots of food and water and Lisa Sahm looked after me. Lisa looks after all the motherless kittens when they come in as she can't have any more kittens of her own and she likes being a mummy.
 

After some time at the shelter I got bored and decided to take my life in my own paws again and ran away. While I was living at the shelter, Kiia from Heinola in Finland was looking after me. Thank you very much.

I was found as a puppy abandoned in Chaweng. Some tourists found me and couldn't leave me unprotected. They fed me but couldn't look after me long term as they were only here on holiday. They brought me to dog rescue where I lived for a while with my new doggie friends in Chaweng. When I came of age, I was taken to the big shelter for a special operation which means I will never be able to be a daddy. I don't care as there is enough food, water and love here.

I am a mysterious cat. I won't tell anyone how I got here and nobody can remember when I arrived! Brigitte recognized when she checked the cards of all of the cats and found nothing about me. Nevertheless, I am here and I like it in the garden and the outside enclosure since I get scared when there are too many cats (and humans) around. 

After a big storm a palm leaf damaged the fence of the cathouse and Shirley run away with a few other cats.

During the time at the shelter, Karin from Heidelberg in Germany was looking after me. Thank you very much!  

Petra (my favourite volunteer) came one day to count all the dogs. We made a big game "catch me if you can" out of it. Petra ran across the shelter and tried to make a picture of every single dog. We all let her come very close and then ran away in different directions. We had great fun that day! After a couple of hours Petra's face became really red. After all, we let her make a picture of all of us and here I am. Nobody knows how I got here or when. But here I am and here I will stay. Except someone from the island wants to take me home.

I was found by a bar owner in Chaweng because someone dumped me in a box behind the bar. He couldn't take care of me and brought me to the shelter where I am a much loved cat now.

I was brought in as a puppy as my owner had too many dogs and cats to contend with. I don't know why he decided to dump just me. Maybe it was something to do with the shoes that I kept on chewing. Anyway, I've been given an operation to stop me having babies and I enjoy playing all day with my other doggie chums.
