ADOPT 

  DOGS  AND CATS

Brigitte and I have known each other for about five years now. I was looked after by some nice men at a motorbike repair shop and Brigitte made sure I got my jabs every year. however, the motorbike shop closed and new buildings were put up and there was no-one around I knew who would look after me. I ran around Chaweng looking and looking for my friends but couldn't find them so Brigitte picked me up and brought me to the shelter. It's OK here but I'd rather be free in Chaweng and hanging out in the bars flirting outrageously with the tourists.

The owner from the motorbike shop couldn't forget me. When he opened a new shop, he took me back to live with him. For the time I was at the DRCS, Isabelle from Bern in Switzerland was looking after me. Thank you very much!

I was brought to the shelter as I had lots and lots of mange. Dr Joe treated me and I got much better and began to look like the handsome beast I had once been. I became so handsome that I got an owner and happily went to live with him. However, for some reason or another, my owner's neighbour wasn't happy with me chasing and eating her chickens - these chickens really know how to taunt a dog. She said that if I ate one more chicken there would be no more me! So, I was brought back to the shelter and replaced by a non-chicken eating dog. Poor me.

After a while I found it too boring at the shelter and decided to manage my life on my own. While I was living at the DRCS, Sandra from Zürich in Switzerland was looking after me. Thank you very much!

I was living near to Chaweng Noi but, because many dogs are poisoned in that area, Brigitte picked me up and brought me to the shelter. I'd rather be running around the beach, playing with the children, but I'm glad I'm not being poisoned. I hope I get a new owner soon and a new beach to play on.

The family Grefe from Germany are now looking after me. Thank you very much.

I was having a good time romping around a school playground and chasing the children there. The children thought it was a good game but, unfortunately, the parents and teachers didn't agree. They said I was too big to play with small children but I wasn't hurting anyone. So I was brought to the shelter and I now romp around with my doggy friends which is great fun.

Erik from Sweden is now looking after me. Thank you very much!

Not surprisingly, a tourist fell in love with me after I parked myself on her balcony on the first day of her holiday. I learned that trick from my friends - sit on a tourist's balcony and within an hour you get fed. Near the end of my two-week feeding frenzy, I was involved in a car accident (not my fault - the driver had been on the Chang) so my tourist friend brought me to the shelter. Here, I was made better by Dr Joe and I now live with another five dogs in a large kennel.

Jipee: I found a new home on Koh Samui. While I was living at the shelter, Melissa from Berlin in Germany was looking after me. Thank you very much! 

This photo doesn't show me in my best light! I was picked up by a tourist who was shocked by my appearance. I was brought to the shelter where I had to be given special food to build me up before I could be treated for the fungus which caused my hair to fall out. I'm getting better but very slowly.

After a while it was too boring for me in the shelter, so I decided to run away. For the time I was living at the DRCS, Marc and Silvia from Avusy in Switzerland were looking after me. Thank you very much!

My brother (Sunny) and I were picked up by some tourists on Chaweng Beach. We had been playing on the beach but were getting hungry as we had been separated from our mother. At first we were scared when we got to the compound but we have made friends with Luke and Jack and we have fun playing (except when they try and pull my tail off).

Renee was now looking after me until Buddha smiled on my brother Luke and I. We were rehomed to a family on the island.

2 month later

My brother Jack and I had been separated from our mother and dumped on the road near Big Buddha. Some tourists found us and brought us to the shelter. Here, we found two new playmates (Sunny and Cher) who are the same age as us and they also like to play around. We can be very naughty and like to chew the laundry.

I am almost the same as Pretty and everyone thought there was only one of us, whereas there were two of us! Then all the cats were checked by Catriona (volunteer vet from Scotland) and Pretty and I were found out. The game was fun while it lasted. Wait till they find out there's another one of us lurking around! I've warned her that she might be caught out.
